Artist Profile: King-I with the Ghetto People Band

From the artist's MySpace page:

King-I was born in the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago. He came to the U.S at the early age of 14. "It's a lie" he said, when asked about America. Never accepting the "American Dream" he decided to reveal the untold story of his people and how they lived before in harmony. Through his music he wisely and spiritually spread his love for the ghetto youths. King's "powers" is seen in his stage performance. He is one of the few entertainers who can interact with the crowd at will. When asked how he does it, he simply states "I just keep it real!" Seeing him live on stage is a must!!! He shall wake you up and show you what a real performer is all about. "They are only looking for fame and forget about the message!!! Please don't forget the MESSAGE!!!" King-I is also an amazing artist check out his airbrush designs @ myspace.com/thekingjah You will be astonished!!!

You can also visit the MySpace for Ghetto People Band, a reggae/roots band out of Cambridge, MA. Their MySpace is also the site for Masspyke Productions. Check it out to hear some of their music.
